It's natural for a youkai to be bound to the one who named them, even though it is true only a human has the ability to name a youkai. But not all humans can. Anyway, it's not like I forced him into doing anything when I named him, a youkai can go against a naming.

I'm really not as bad as you see me, you just don't understand and project your own ideas onto a situation you don't even attempt to try and understand.
