四十四 (Voice Post, Japanese)

Basically, waiting for this illness to "fade" has only proved impossible. Either the affected wind up dying, or the ones who don't have the strength to fight them.

I have no interest in pointing fingers... What I'd like to know instead is why there doesn't seem to be a better solution. Is there no way to develop a medicine to cure or a seal to bind these people?

Their powers and strength are the real problem. Because they can only use it to harm. It is beyond their control to do otherwise. I haven't been proven wrong yet.

Hmph. If anyone sees death as the quickest method of turning this around... You've let this world change you too much. ...You've let them change you too much.

I don't understand. How can death be used to "turn this around"?

[Voice; Japanese]

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 07:56 am (UTC)(link)
Death isn't permanent here.

With the revival of the ones who were once affected by the illness, all the things they experienced before are completely wiped out.

Their anger, the transformation... all of it.

I'm afraid I do not know much of the situation, as I am new. However, I do agree with you... death should never be taken lightly.

I met a medicine seller on the network who claims to have all kinds of cures for ailments. Perhaps he might be able to help?

[Voice; Japanese]

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Then you already know about the fact that people can be revived here, don't you?

...Don't be too shocked whenever you hear the phrase "Well, ___ will be back tomorrow."

Who knows.

[identity profile] pissedkitty.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 12:44 pm (UTC)(link)
...I guess we're lucky to have people come back from the dead around here, then.

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I won't look down on that fact... But its not the truth of all worlds.

There are parts of this that still rub me the wrong way. That's why I'm not that satisfied with this being the only answer we've got so far.

Seals work but that just leaves them sealed, not cured.

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 08:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I thought so... But if that power can be suppressed, then it could still give us extra time to find that cure.

Being the quickest method doesn't mean it's the most efficient one, or even appropriate at all, though.

Of course. Poor Yuuko. D:

You, among many, have asked a very hopeless question! Surely if there was an attempt to make the vaccine it would have been announced! The curing of this disease is nothing except impossible!

Though, if you happen to have any rope...

[text]

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't care. Anything can be impossible if you don't try to do a damn thing about it.

No. Go check somewhere else.

That's a stupid question to ask.

This is why I don't think it is an illness, but closer to possession. The problem still remains though, we need to find the source.

It's a hard situation, death is never a good answer, but I can understand where people are coming from.

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Possession... Like an aradama?
Mm. I agree. Have you heard anything about that lately? It makes me curious...

What do you think we should do then, Haruka?

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 09:06 pm (UTC)(link)
That's what I'm trying to find out.

[voice | Japanese]

[identity profile] cinnagami.livejournal.com 2009-06-25 06:00 am (UTC)(link)
...I hate killing them, too. If there's a seal - anything....

Have you heard anything yet, Haruka?

[voice | Japanese]

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2009-06-25 07:16 am (UTC)(link)
[...]

Not much. There doesn't seem to be any kind of medicine that has been developed for this illness, and seals will only work for as long as the one using them can grant power to it.
