四十三 (Accidental Voice Post, Japanese)
[The transmission cuts in to the sound of shifting fabric and a lone pair of footsteps hitting along the asphalt. It must have turned on in one of his jacket pockets by accident.
Out patrolling the streets, there isn't much else to be heard past the occassional breeze or the distant howl of one of the wild wolves.
Suddenly, he stops. His breath hitches, and his fist comes slamming down against the side of an abandoned building with an audible WHUMP.
After a few seconds, a bit of crumbling rock can be heard falling to the ground, and the walk continues on until the feed times out.]

[He laughs tiredly, then whines.] Y'know, I think this is the first time I've been sick since I was a kid. Mostly I'm bored, though.

Then you should consider yourself lucky, I guess. Most people have a harder time of it.
You can try to rest properly,
rather than pestering me.[voice]
It's still gotta hurt, though. Punching buildings. And more than that, you're joking around, but for you to do it in the first place—what happened?
[voice]
I'll be fine.
...A lot happened; and I'd rather not have to explain myself to you right now.
[voice]

But it will pass. That's not what is important right now.
[voice]
[...] What is important?
[voice]
To be able to protect the ones who are most important to me.
[voice]

Least now I'll be able to do something about it.
