四十四 (Voice Post, Japanese)

Basically, waiting for this illness to "fade" has only proved impossible. Either the affected wind up dying, or the ones who don't have the strength to fight them.

I have no interest in pointing fingers... What I'd like to know instead is why there doesn't seem to be a better solution. Is there no way to develop a medicine to cure or a seal to bind these people?

Their powers and strength are the real problem. Because they can only use it to harm. It is beyond their control to do otherwise. I haven't been proven wrong yet.

Hmph. If anyone sees death as the quickest method of turning this around... You've let this world change you too much. ...You've let them change you too much.

I don't understand. How can death be used to "turn this around"?

I'm afraid I do not know much of the situation, as I am new. However, I do agree with you... death should never be taken lightly.

I met a medicine seller on the network who claims to have all kinds of cures for ailments. Perhaps he might be able to help?

...I guess we're lucky to have people come back from the dead around here, then.

Seals work but that just leaves them sealed, not cured.

Being the quickest method doesn't mean it's the most efficient one, or even appropriate at all, though.

People are sick...?

You, among many, have asked a very hopeless question! Surely if there was an attempt to make the vaccine it would have been announced! The curing of this disease is nothing except impossible!

Though, if you happen to have any rope...

Is there a need to cure them?

This is why I don't think it is an illness, but closer to possession. The problem still remains though, we need to find the source.

It's a hard situation, death is never a good answer, but I can understand where people are coming from.

...eh?

What is fading? Disease, huh?

What do you think we should do then, Haruka?

...I hate killing them, too. If there's a seal - anything....

Have you heard anything yet, Haruka?
