五十二 (Video Post, Japanese)

[The video function turns on, tilted at an angle and pointed out toward the city horizon.

This was no accident. He just wanted to avoid the shock this time, and maybe even show everyone a pleasant view of the two moons. Whatever the excuse... Haruka didn't seem to want to be seen, as he was clearly out of view.
But a soft sipping noise could be heard a short distance away, picked up by the receiver.

Kantarou, he helped himself in small part to one of your newly acquired sake bottles.

Ah.

[A bit of light faintly highlights the bottom of the horizon, coming up slowly.]

And so comes the dawn...

Who are you close to? I find it funny, that after over a year, and others in a similar state, I hardly know anyone.

It's not that surprising, when you consider how we are left to communicate with each other half the time.

Mm. ...let me think.

I'm not that close to too many people. I barely know the names of the others who work at the Northern Lights, except for Shinjiro and Sorata-kun. Then... I am familiar with most of Testament's family.

Bonten in more tolerable than Sugino could be half the time, and Cirno-chan just seems like a noisy brat. Not that different from how Titi-kun used to be.

It really is an odd makeshift family isn't it? I guess I'm not very good at that like some people.

You could say that.

... If you don't think that you're very good, then I think you're trying too hard.

I'm not trying at all. I'm perfectly happy with Youko chan and Haruka back home.

Hmm...

[He lifts the cup to his mouth to take another quiet sip of sake.]
