六十四 (Text/Voice Post, Japanese)

[Voice]

[BZZZZAP!] Tch.

[...] Hanami... huh.

[An amused humph.] ...It's hard to think of holding a spring festival in a place where the flowers struggle to bloom and the cherry blossoms don't even exist, Yuuko-san.

[Text]

Wood that has already been cut should be hard to come by. They get used for other things that are more important than stalls. If we can obtain some from the trees in the forest, then that should be fine. Just be prepared for any of the monsters who live there.

Those that are too weak to fight should just stay behind. There are other things that you can do instead.

I would also like to know if there is any sake left, and who would be willing to donate it toward this festival.

It's how she operates.

...

Japan...?

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2010-04-16 07:42 am (UTC)(link)
Hm. Then you must one of the other personified countries that exist here.

I don't understand them, and so I do not know much about them myself.

[...] I'll believe you.

It may be difficult to comprehend. I can understand that. [He's bowing, video or not.]

Um, may I have your name?

A country can exist. ...I'm still trying to getting used to the part where it can walk around and talk to me.

My name is Haruka.

[Sorry, Japan. He might have originate from you, but as a tengu he's far less obligated towards such politeness.]
brbmodernizing: (..that seems about right)

[personal profile] brbmodernizing 2010-04-16 07:53 am (UTC)(link)
[Japan is verrrry understanding. And so he's quiet for a moment before speaking.]

It's nice meeting you, Haruka-san.

It's equally strange to be able to speak with citizens so often, here. Usually I am far too busy..

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2010-04-16 07:59 am (UTC)(link)
Mm.

How does a country become busy?
brbmodernizing: (zipangu)

[personal profile] brbmodernizing 2010-04-16 08:02 am (UTC)(link)
It is constantly so. Between meetings, wars, building, and the like.. we are always working to further adapt to the times.

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2010-04-16 08:05 am (UTC)(link)
I see. It sounds like a lot of hard work.
brbmodernizing: (...right then)

[personal profile] brbmodernizing 2010-04-16 08:09 am (UTC)(link)
...It tends to get that way.

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2010-04-16 08:14 am (UTC)(link)
You can consider this a vacation.

Even if the conditions are poor and unfavorable, you can still do things that you might have never had the time for in your own world.
brbmodernizing: (ahhh ummm well you see)

[personal profile] brbmodernizing 2010-04-16 08:19 am (UTC)(link)
That's a rather optimistic way of looking at things.

I wish it were so easy.

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2010-04-16 08:22 am (UTC)(link)
Or you can consider whether you really have any other choice right now.

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2010-04-16 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Don't make that face.

As far as I know, the world you left behind is practically standing still. As long as you are here, it is as if time stopped for you.

Nothing will change without you knowing about it.
brbmodernizing: (ahhh ummm well you see)

[personal profile] brbmodernizing 2010-04-16 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
..Is that so?

I'll admit that's good to hear.
brbmodernizing: (..that seems about right)

[personal profile] brbmodernizing 2010-04-16 09:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah..

Thank you for your time, Haruka-san.

Also, if I can assist with this in any way, I'd be glad to help.

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2010-04-16 09:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't do anything that you need to thank me for, Japan.

I won't ask for your help.

But if you're really determined, then seek out Ichihara Yuuko. [livejournal.com profile] dreamgranter is her frequency.
brbmodernizing: (ahhh ummm well you see)

[personal profile] brbmodernizing 2010-04-16 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
It's not about that. I'm rather curious how this could work out..

Ah, I will do that. Thank you.

[identity profile] onikui-haruka.livejournal.com 2010-04-16 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
[A soft chuckle.] It's a little encouraging to hear you say that.

...I think that I am as well.
brbmodernizing: (I see...)

[personal profile] brbmodernizing 2010-04-16 09:17 pm (UTC)(link)
If this can work without too much danger, I'm very much interested. A city like this could use a festival of sorts, I believe.
